A project to study functional situation and processing of pharmaceutical plant materials is being implemented

A joint project between the Mongolian Institute of Traditional Medicine, Daegu Khan University and the Young Entrepreneurs Council to study the functionalities and develop a plant-based manufacturing material is underway.

Under the leadership of Sh. Bold, Director and Academician of the Mongolian National Academy of Sciences, the project is working to study only medicinal plants grown in Mongolia and to produce them as products and sell them to foreign and domestic markets.

A total of three research and expedition teams have been appointed in Tuv, Uvurkhangai and Eastern aimags to work on the collection of medicinal plants since July 2020.

​Establish a bibliography and database of traditional Mongolian medicine with the support of the Organization for Scientific Cooperation, Daegu Khan University, Korea; Production of Mongolian medicinal plants to produce products that reduce joint health and body fat; product quality standardization; The project will be implemented between 2020 and 2022 with the aim of conducting research on the cultivation of medicinal plants that have an effect on joint health and body fat reduction.
